Jones, Jr. Airport (RVS) on 91st Street between Elwood Ave. and Elm Street. Initially, the airport constructed a parking area with six paved parking spaces off of the southwest corner of the main runway, the single best vantage point to view aircraft taking off and landing but was not able to justify budgeting the considerable funds to purchase amenities. R.L. JONES, JR. AIRPORT Richard L. Jones, Jr. Airport (RVS) serves as the reliever airport for Tulsa International. RVS, a 700-acre facility, is located in southwest Tulsa and is home to 350 employees, generating an economic output of $36.5 million to the Tulsa area. TITLE ONE AIRPORTS ORDINANCE The Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust adopted Rules and Regulations which have been approved by the Tulsa City Council and the Mayor as “Title 1 – Airports and Aircraft.” TARMAC DELAY PLAN
The Federal Aviation Administration Modernization and Reform Act of 2012 required all U.S. carriers and commercial service airports to develop and share a contingency plan for lengthy tarmac delays. STRATEGIC BUSINESS PLAN Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust’s ten year Strategic Business Plan was initially developed to guide the organization in its transition to a new business model based on a new airline lease. SOCIAL MEDIA
TAIT uses social media to further the goals of the Airport and the missions of its departments. TAIT has an overriding interest and expectation in deciding what is “spoken” on behalf of TAIT on social media sites, including without limitation blogs, online journals, bulletin boards or chat rooms, personal websites, and social networking sites like Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, etc, (“social media”).
LEASING POLICY AND PROCEDURES In order to remain in compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements for receiving Federal grant assistance the Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust (TAIT) adopted a Leasing Policy and Procedure.
FINANCIAL INFORMATION For your convenience, Financial Statements are available for download: GROUND TRANSPORTATION POLICY Under Federal Airport Grant Assurances, Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust is obligated to establish a fee and rental structure designed to make the Airport as self-sustaining as possible . Because Tulsa International Airport receives no tax dollars from the community, the Airport must seek to raise revenues from contracts, licenses, permits, and leases issued by the Airport to both aeronautical and non-aeronautical users of the Airport. CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLANS The Airport Capital Improvement Plan (ACIP) provides a five year perspective of the airport’s critical development needs and the financial planning to accommodate those needs. It also serves as the basis for distribution of grant funds under the Airport Improvement Program (AIP).

In 2016, over 2.8 million passengers traveled through TUL. Based on passenger surveys, over 37% of our passengers have a household income of $100,000 or more. The average passenger arrives to the airport at least 60 minutes before boarding a flight, resulting in longer dwell times in front of airport advertisements compared to other media. TAXIS

TO AND FROM TUL
During street reconstruction on North Mingo Road between East 36th Street and East 46th Street, additional lane closures are needed on East 46th Street, two blocks east and west of Mingo. Traffic will be limited to one eastbound lane and one westbound lane. These lane closures will be in effect until completion of the project. NONSTOP DESTINATIONS Beginning this Spring, you will be able to fly to 22 cities (24 airports) from Tulsa International. Tulsa International Airport transitioned from PIKEPASS to their own independent parking program, Parking+, on January 15, 2017. PIKEPASS holders will not need to purchase an additional tag, as the new Parking+ program uses the same reader technology. INFORMATION A-Z

These initiatives have resulted in reduced energy consumption, lower operational costs, and lowered usage of natural resources. RSVP Airport Ambassadors provide assistance to passengers and airport visitors. Ambassadors are stationed at information desks in each baggage claim area and at the security checkpoint. They answer countless questions from people flying in and out of our airport from all over the world.

Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust (TAIT) board and staff value their relationship with area citizens. TAIT’s community outreach efforts give citizens the opportunity to directly experience and interact with area visitors. A volunteer airport ambassador program, art and culture program and aviation education program are just a few options available to area residents looking for opportunities to get involved with Tulsa’s air transportation system. WAREHOUSE & OFFICE SPACE Tulsa International Airport offers warehouse, office, and ramp space to businesses needing airfield access. A total of 70,000 square feet of warehouse/office space is located adjacent to the cargo ramp and only feet from the primary commercial service runway. U.S. CUSTOMS
U.S. Customs clearance services are available at Tulsa International Airport. After hours clearance can be arranged as long as the Customs office knows of an arrival by 2:00 p.m. on the same day. Weekend arrivals need to be arranged by Friday at 2:00 p.m. CARGO
