Where are the best cafes, restaurants, walks, lookouts and experiences in the Blue Mountains? Find out right here on True Blue Mountains. As an Airbnb host in the Blue Mountains (check out Luxury Bush Escape) near Sydney, Australia, I get this question a lot. So for easy reference I've put all my top recommendations on this website. FIVE STUNNING SWIMMING HOLES IN THE BLUE MOUNTAINS Andy / 11 Dec-2015. Sorry to be the boring one. Great artictle. But You Advise swimmers to wear sunscreen. Can You change this to ‘not wear sunscreen if you plan to swim’ and cover up with long sleeves etc. instead. these are delicate eco syStems and wearing sUnsCreen and bug spray Kills a lot of fauna and flora around the swimming holes andDownstream.
TRUFFLE HUNTING NEAR THE BLUE MOUNTAINS The perigord black truffle is passed around. One whiff and my senses explode. It’s this complex, pungent aroma – slightly off, but so intriguing – and the flavour that comes with it that has spurred this group of about 20 to drive for hours (one-and-a-half hours from the Blue Mountains, three hours from Sydney) to stand out in the coldtoday.
MUSHROOM PICKING IN THE BLUE MOUNTAINS Autumn is the season for picking wild mushrooms in the Blue Mountains – especially after rain. It was thanks to a guest staying at Luxury Bush Escape that I found out about the wild, edible mushrooms growing in my backyard.. The guest was in town picking mushrooms for his business Autumn Harvest, which supplies high-end restaurants around Australia with foraged mushrooms and wild honey, and WHAT TO DO WHEN IT’S RAINING IN THE BLUE MOUNTAINS Don’t let the rain put a dampener on your time in the Blue Mountains with these wet weather tips. You’ve come to see those beautiful Blue Mountains valleys, but you can’t see much beyond your outstretched arm for all the rain and mist.TRUE BLUE MOUNTAINS

THE BEST BLUE MOUNTAINS BOOKSHOPS Cosy, friendly, independent bookstores abound in the Blue Mountains, with well-read staff and shelves teeming with everything from bestsellers to rare finds.EXPERIENCES
This incredible lookout was only officially named ‘Lincoln’s Rock’ in 2013. Before that it went by a few different names: Flat Rock (it really is a big flat rock!), Wedding Rock (lots of couples have wedding-day photos taken there) and even Honeymoon Rock (if only the cliff was lined with sun lounges and waiters serving pinacoladas!).
BEST COFFEE IN THE BLUE MOUNTAINS Whether you’re visiting for the weekend or you’re a coffee-loving local, it pays to know where to get the best brew in the BlueMountains.

When a friend asks if you’d like to spend half a day soaking in a hot spa in the Blue Mountains for a mere $60, there is only one answer: hell yes. LOOK OUT LEURA: LAWSON IS ON THE GROW Mesa Barrio. This Lawson bar and restaurant breathes so much cool that, if dining here and hailing from somewhere like Potts Point in Sydney, you’d be forgiven for thinking you hadn’t left the city at all. Spanish for ‘neighbourhood table’, Mesa Barrio is all about sharing good food and wine with good friends. The menu is a series of small and larger plates with a Mediterranean bent MAY | 2021 | TRUE BLUE MOUNTAINS That agreement resulted in an estimated 300,000 schoolchildren and 25,000 union members returning to the classroom the following day. But the union still had to ratify the contract, by a simple-majority vote of rank-and-file members, before the strike was formally called off. LOGAN BRAE ORCHARD, BLACKHEATH Growing up in the country with a small orchard in the backyard meant that nearly all year round there was always fruit to be had. What that means, though, is thatyou
