This extremely popular, easy, and scenic trail connects highway 14 to Pennock Pass (Buckhorn Road), ending at the Pingree Park Campus of Colorado State University. There are many hiking trails along the way, and you'll find the Stormy Peaks Trail at a MINNEHAHA BASIN 170909 We'd had Minnehaha Basin on our "to do list" for at least a decade, and we were looking forward to finally seeing it. We did the loop on Gladstone Road and then headed in to see what we'd see. The first thing we came to was an old building hanging off the side of the trail, probably one that wasLEON LAKE 170814
Leon Lake. On the map, the Leon Lake trail is pretty much a straight line. That usually means it's not a difficult trail, as the squiggly trails are usually the good ones. So we weren't expecting much from Leon Lake. We came off of a great time on Kenney Creek FLAT IRON MESA 191019 Flat Iron Mesa was our first trail for Moab in the Fall of 2019. Matt had been wanting to run Flat Iron Mesa for some time, and now his time had finally come! We started at the north end of Flat Iron Mesa and aired down in the parking area near the beginning of the trail. Itlooked like it was
BLACK BEAR PASS 200905 Black Bear Pass. It was going to be a nice, warm, and sunny day in early September, and thankfully it was not very smokey or hazy in the area all weekend. We met in Ouray and then drove to the beginning of Black Bear Pass, which was just a few miles off the main highway south of town. We aired down at the start of the trail. Mount Baldy was the second trail for the day after we finished Eagle Rock. On the way up Mount Baldy, we ran into a Jeep or two making their way down, and a few more people at the top. One of our favorite things to do is to check out a new trail and find a new favorite. That happened with Cloverdale Mine, a great trail from start to finish. The hill climb area was the hardest part of the trail, and we enjoyed it. We stopped at the overlook just for a few minutes and then finished the trail. The last half of Bartlett Overlook was sandy and easy goi CLOVERDALE MINE 110828 Cloverdale Mine. One of our favorite things to do is to check out a new trail and find a new favorite. That happened with Cloverdale Mine, a great trail from start to finish. We rode through the Lake Creek Campground to check it out and it was really nice. The start of Hell’s Revenge at Lake Michigan had deep water, and you had to stay to the left get around the really deep sections. March 16, 2019. Led by Matt Kuczborski. Hell’s Revenge was the last trail of the first, long day of trails around Moab. The start of Hell’s Revenge at Lake Michigan had deep water, and you had to stay to the left get around the really deep sections. Then FLAT IRON MESA 191019 Flat Iron Mesa was our first trail for Moab in the Fall of 2019. Matt had been wanting to run Flat Iron Mesa for some time, and now his time had finally come! We started at the north end of Flat Iron Mesa and aired down in the parking area near the beginning of the trail. Itlooked like it was

We did the loop on Gladstone Road and then headed in to see what we'd see. The first thing we came to was an old building hanging off the side of the trail, probably one that was BARTLETT OVERLOOK 190316 The start of Bartlett Overlook was fun, and we tackled a very steep and narrow hill. The hill climb area was the hardest part of the trail, and we enjoyed it. We stopped at the overlook just for a few minutes and then finished the trail. The last half of Bartlett Overlook was sandy and easy goi CLOVERDALE MINE 110828 Cloverdale Mine. One of our favorite things to do is to check out a new trail and find a new favorite. That happened with Cloverdale Mine, a great trail from start to finish. We rode through the Lake Creek Campground to check it out and it was really nice. PINGREE PARK
This extremely popular, easy, and scenic trail connects highway 14 to Pennock Pass (Buckhorn Road), ending at the Pingree Park Campus of Colorado State University. There are many hiking trails along the way, and you'll find the Stormy Peaks Trail at aAPISHAPA CANYON

Leon Lake. On the map, the Leon Lake trail is pretty much a straight line. That usually means it's not a difficult trail, as the squiggly trails are usually the good ones. So we weren't expecting much from Leon Lake. As a result, we hadn't done the trails before the fire and we rarely did them since they were reopened. We'd heard that they were opened to the other side CHINAMAN GULCH 170408 Chinaman Gulch was the only trail that we planned on running that Saturday. We all met up at the Gunsmoke Truck Stop in Johnson Village, and then headed to the trailhead parking lot for Chinaman Gulch to air down. The parking lot was full of Jeeps, KANE CREEK CANYON 200525 As we went to Kane Creek Canyon, we stopped just before the dirt road starts and aired down.
