All good things must come to an end… In 1990, I set out on a mission to share information about Tourette Syndrome with other parents, mental health professionals, and school personnel. As part of that mission, I created web sites in the 1990s, joined online support groups for parents and professionals, accepted speaking engagements to help train educators both here and abroad, and even managed to write two books for parents and educators. But now it’s time to close this chapter of my life and to actively pursue the next chapter. I am retiring from professional practice as a psychologist and I am shutting down all my web sites on Tourette Syndrome except for the ChallengingKids.com site that accompanies the book I co-authored with Sheryl Pruitt. I wish you all well as you pursue your own journeys with your children, students, or patients. To those who became close personal friends or colleagues as we shared our respective journeys, thank you for your friendship and collegiality.
