MISSION » TOKAMAK ENERGY fusion power by 2030. Our mission is to change the way the world generates power – forever. We are developing a scalable fusion solution that will give the world an attractive new base-load power source that is plentiful, safe, cost effective, secure and clean. Our target is to demonstrate the feasibility of fusion as an energy sourceby 2030.

OUR APPROACH
COMBINING SPHERICAL TOKAMAKS WITH LATEST GENERATION HTS MAGNETS Our route to fusion power is unique. We are taking established science and building on it by pioneering the use of spherical tokamaks in conjunction with high temperature superconductors (HTS). We are developing key technology that we firmly believe will enable fusion to be implemented efficiently and quickly and, ultimately, help the world to realise the benefits of fusion power. But the process of creating and commercialising fusion energy is a considerable scientific and engineering challenge. This is the sole focus of our work at Tokamak Energy.+ Learn more
