URBANISATION A CASE STUDY A movement in Urban Design which started in the late 80's. New Urbanism believes in shifting design focus from the car-centric development of suburbia and the business park, to concentrated pedestrian and transit-centric, walkable, mixed-use communities. New Urbanism is an amalgamation of old-world design patterns, merged with present day demands. LUO CULTURE: THEIR HABITS AND BEHAVIORS Luo Culture: Their habits and behaviors. I am a Luo from Kenya. Luo culture is one of the most diverse and the most vibrant cultures in Kenya and all over the world. The luo community in Kenya is estimated to be about 25% of the Kenyan population. Luo community, according to history emerged from CULTURAL PROBLEMS IN AFRICA Cultural Problems in Africa. According to history, the Africans were great people. They excelled in arts, religion, technology, medicine, and civilisation. Their culture was principally based on religious and moral justification. A strong point to prove the moral injunctions can be gotten from our oral traditions. YOUTHS OF TODAY HAVE LOST THEIR CULTURE IDENTIFICATION Youths of today have not lost their cultural identity, we have simply become more open to and understanding of others; other cultures, other religions, other people, other things in general. Youths of today realize that culture is what has caused countries and the world tofight.

The centre is uplifting the spiritual, social, economic and other human conditions of the needy in Pumwani area by enabling them to realize their best potential through pastoral care enhanced capacity guided by the Christian spirit of bearing one another’s burdens.
