TIGA GAMES INDUSTRY AWARDS 2020 TIGA is one of Europe’s largest network of independent games developers and publishers. Our flagship event is the TIGA Awards Ceremony. The TIGA Games Industry Awards are now in their ninth year and are one of the industry’s most exciting and prestigious events. GOVERNMENT OPENS APPLICATIONS FOR THE REGULATORS’ PIONEER The Government have today, 20 th May 2021, opened applications for a £3 million fund that will ‘ensure the UK’s rules and regulations keep pace with innovation.’. The Regulators’ Pioneer Fund is open for applications from regulators and local authorities for funds of upto £200,000.

TIGA RESEARCH REVEALS UK VIDEO GAMES INDUSTRY HAS BEEN TIGA, the trade association representing the UK video games industry, released new research today which shows that the UK video games development sector not only grew to record levels in 2019-20, but did so at the fastest annualised rate since this research was first conducted in 2007/8. TIGA BENCHMARK STATEMENTS FOR BACHELOR’S DEGREES WITH TIGA is committed to maintaining educational standards in courses leading to game development focussed qualifications. That these courses prepare graduates for possible careers in the games and related industries is at the core of TIGA’s educational initiatives. VIDEO GAMES INVESTMENT FUND VGIF Overview. TIGA proposes that the VGIF could provide funding of between £75,000 and £500,000 to games developers nationwide. Funding between £75,000 and £100,000 would be delivered as grants while above £100,000 soft loans would be matched pound for pound to ensure that games companies find new investment from other sources.2016 WINNERS
