Between the towns of St. Helena and Calistoga sit Bothe-Napa Valley State Park and Bale Grist Mill State Historic Park.In the latter, you’ll find the historic mill from 1846 used by the pioneers who settled here to grind their wheat and corn. EXPAT LIFE FLORENCE ITALY The best things about living in Florence: One of the things I love best about living in Florence is that it is a pretty small town. You can put together a good group of friends and become relatively well known, socially. It’s also nice because the distances are small between towns in Italy and cities in Europe. 8 AFFORDABLE FAMILY VACATIONS IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA Find out more about here: why we think this is the best campground in Northern California. Cost: $35-85 per night depending on the type of campsite you reserve. Napa Valley on a budget. Napa Valley is not what most people would consider an affordable family travel destination. EXPAT LIFE MUNICH, GERMANY I’ve lived in Germany for 6 ½ years and Munich for 5 ½ years. I met my now-husband while diving with sharks in Costa Rica and one of us had to move. I had always wanted to live in Europe, so I volunteered to move. We were married a year later. On first impressions of expat life in Germany: FASHION IN ITALY: WHY DO ITALIANS ALWAYS LOOK GOOD? Finally, in Italy, it’s OK for men to dress up. It’s OK for them to care about what they look like and about fashion. It’s OK for them to play with classic looks and maybe turn up the volume a bit. The same goes for women. Italian women care. They care what they look like when they go out. A DAY TRIP TO BODEGA BAY A Day Trip to Bodega Bay. Bodega Bay is a convenient day trip from San Francisco or Sonoma County. We’ve taken a day trip to Bodega Bay while staying in Petaluma or Sebastopol — t he drive from Petaluma to Bodega Bay takes about 30 minutes and, like many roads in Sonoma County, took us past quiet farms and hills with cows and goatsroaming.
10 BEST VALUE CABERNET SAUVIGNONS FROM THE U.S. Approx. $12. Josh Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon. Josh Cellars is one of my go-to wineries for Merlot and Cab.
