In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, white sugar, baking powder, milk, egg and vanilla. Stir in the melted butter. Add the shrimp and simmer for 3-4 more minutes, or until the shrimp is pink. Once the food is done cooking, remove from the water and place in a serving dish. HOMEMADE MAPLE BROWN SUGAR OATMEAL Cook the oatmeal. Bring the water and salt to a boil. Add the oats and reduce the heat to medium heat. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once the oats are done cooking, remove from the heat. Add the flavors to the oatmeal. Stir in the half and half, maple syrup and brown sugar. Place the oatmeal into bowls. Reduce the temperature to warm and stir in the cream cheese and milk. Add salt and pepper totaste, if needed.
