P5 WEIGHTED ASSESSMENT MODEL COMPO: BEING RESPONSIBLE These changes are important ones that can be reflected in their writing and Stimulus-based conversations. Words such as ‘pandemic’ and ‘socially responsible’ are used commonly nowadays. One of my Primary 5 students, Samuel, had his school’s Composition Weighted Assessment (WA) a few weeks back. The theme was on Being Responsible. P3 COMPOSITION A COMPETITION Planning does not need to be completely written down but student must be able to tell me his complete story idea. 2) Able to complete writing the Composition within the 40 minute time frame given. 3) Able to check through his writing and correct some of his tenses or punctuation mistakes on his own. CHANGES IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE COMPONENTS FROM P4 TO P5 Changes in Oral. Oral – 30 marks. This is broken up into Reading which is now 10 marks, instead of 6 marks. And Stimulus-based conversation, which is out of 20, instead of 10 marks. Thus, expectations of the students’ responses in SBC are much higher in P5 than in P4.
