Hi all I am in the process of learning to get round this site. And hopefully 2 pictures should appear. I found this nice little watch in a local antique shop, it was headed as a 1930s watch in good working order. I like the face as it is nice clean and simple ( a little like me) And it was, I wou MANUALLY WINDING A SEAMASTER I have always assumed the Omega Seamaster has manual wind facility. When mine has stopped and I unscrew the crown to manually wind up the mainspring nothing happens. I know you cant overwind one of these but Ive gone up to 20 turns and I feel really uncomfortable doing any more. However when I giARIOS CHRONOGRAPH
Hello Gents. I am new to watch collecting and know very little about my first purchase other than it is an Arios Chronograph from the 1970s. According to the Seller, it is a close cousin of Sicura and Sorna watches measuring 44mm X 47 mm X 15mm. I bought this watch on eBay last week. The seller said “ Have not replaced battery, may work but selling as spares and repairs.. I usually take these statements with a pinch of salt, but it looked quite clean even though the crystal was quite badly scratched and it appeared to have the original bracelet (since identified as a VERY expensive Swiss made NSA one) and with a £22 winning bid VOSTOK AMPHIBIA WON'T HAND WIND/STOPS RANDOMLY Im having two issues with my new Vostok Amphibia. Issue 1: Out of the box, the hand winding feature worked fine, but this only lasted about a day. It can no longer be hand wound, but automatic winding works fine. Issue 2: Any time I reset the time, the watch will stop randomlyfor a
