BANFF NATIONAL PARK PHOTOGRAPHY LOCATIONS GUIDE A Photographer’s Guide to Beautiful Places in Banff National Park Glacial Lakes – Waterfalls – Rugged Peaks + so much more! By Lisa Michele Burns. As mist wafts through the valley and snow capped peaks rise above reflecting turquoise lakes I couldn’t help but think to myself, that Banff National Park 14 PHOTOGENIC EXPERIENCES IN PROVENCE, FRANCE Swimming in Calanque des Figuerolles. Calanque des Figuerolles is located just near La Ciotat and is a beautiful cove with photogenic rock formations, clear water and rocky shores. You’ll also find a lot of rock climbers up on the cliffs above which makes for great subjects to photography. CAMERA CARE IN EXTREME CLIMATES Sticking one of these to your camera will generate some warmth but you’ll need to keep rubbing it or it will just turn cold because it’s out in the open air. Just like in warm conditions, if your camera has frozen or developed frost all around it then pop it straight in your camera bag and don’t open itBEHIND THE LENS
A Canadian Rockies photography location you have to see! Where alpine scenery rises above a calm, reflective creek, home to one chunky little beaver. I had heard about this spot from every photographer I 6 PHOTOGENIC SPOTS AROUND LOCH NESS, SCOTLAND Thomas Telford Bridge. On the road south of Invermoriston, keep an eye out as you cross a bridge for another bridge that’s very photo worthy. Thomas Telford Bridge was once part of the main road from Fort Augustus to Drumnadrochit but now forms a great subject for landscape photos as water gushes below towards Loch Ness. CAMERA CARE: WHAT TO DO WHEN YOUR CAMERA GETS WET 1. Switch Off Your Camera. If your camera has fallen into the water while operating, the first thing you need to do is turn it off immediately. Keeping your camera on will only do more damage as it can cause failures in the electronics.
