TRADITIONAL VEGAN CRÊPES What you need to make your Vegan Crêpes Ingredients. Dairy-free milk I've tried making these crêpes with different types of milk and the best results always come from using soya milk.The pancakes are just a bit more robust and easy to flip. But if you don't want to use soya, they will still turn out fine with any type of plant milk. THICK & CREAMY VEGAN CUSTARD What you need to make thick and creamy Vegan Custard Ingredients. Preheat the oven to 170°C (fan) / 325°F / gas mark 3. Line a 12-hole cake tin with paper cases. In a food mixer or large bowl, beat together the margarine and caster sugar until pale and fluffy, (this might take 2-3 minutes - keep going!). In a small bowl, TRADITIONAL VEGAN CRÊPES Cinnamon Crêpes Swap the vanilla extract for half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and serve with apple slices cooked in vegan butter and sprinkle with crunchy demerara sugar. Gingerbread Crêpes Leave out the vanilla extract and add ½ tsp ground ginger and ½ tsp ground cinnamon. Serve with oat crème fraiche and a drizzle of maple orgolden

Add the courgettes, (remove the garlic cloves first), potatoes and green vegetables. Squeeze the flesh of the garlic cloves out of the skin and add to the pan. THE BEST VEGAN CHEESE SCONES Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan) / 400°F / Gas Mark 6. Grease a baking tray with dairy-free margarine. Tip the flour into a large bowl. Cook on a medium heat for 2 minutes until starting to soften. Add the turmeric to the pan and cook for a further minute on a gentle heat. Meanwhile, squeeze any liquid out of the tofu, pat dry with kitchen paper then crumble it with a fork. VEGAN RED VELVET CAKE In a large bowl mix the dry ingredients - cocoa powder, flour, caster sugar, baking powder and salt. In a jug, mix the wet ingredients - plant milk, vegan yoghurt, oil and vanilla extract. Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl and mix until smooth. Add 1 tsp red food colouring and mix, then adjust adding a little more if you want abrighter cake.
THE BEST VEGAN BANANA CAKE Instructions. Preheat the oven to 170°C (fan) / 325°F / gas mark 3. Grease a loaf tin (a 2lb tin is ideal - about 21cm x 9cm or so). Peel the bananas and place 3 into a small bowl. Mash with a fork until smooth. Place the remaining bananas in another bowl and just lightly mash them, leaving lots of large-ish chunks. THE ULTIMATE VEGAN CARROT CAKE For the cake: Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan) / 350°F / Gas Mark 4. Grease two 23cm (9 inch) cake tins and line the bottoms with baking parchment / greaseproof paper. Peel and trim the carrots and grate them into a bowl. Finely chop the walnuts and add to the carrots. SUN-DRIED TOMATO VEGAN PÂTÉ Instructions. Tip the sun-dried tomatoes, oil, lemon juice and 3 tbsp water into a blender or food processor. Blitz until smooth. Drain and rinse the butterbeans and add to the blender with leaves from the thyme sprigs. Blitz to a smooth paste, then taste and add salt and black pepper as required. If the pâté is a little too stiff, add VEGAN ENCHILADAS WITH BLACK BEANS & CHIPOTLE Finely chop the onions and add to the pan, frying gently for a couple of minutes. Finely chop the peppers and courgette and add to the pan along with the garlic. Cook for 4-5 minutes until starting to soften. Drain and rinse the black beans and sweetcorn and add to the pan, followed by the chipotle paste. Stir and cook for a further minute 20-MINUTE GREEK GIGANTES BEANS Season well with salt and black pepper, bring to the boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook for 12-14 minutes until the sauce is thick. If the beans starts to get a little dry, add a splash of water and/or cover with a lid.
