THE URBAN POSER
Maple Carrot Cake. For this recipe, you will need three 6-inch (15-cm) round cake pans, as the recipe is written for that amount of batter. However, this amount of batter will also make one 9-inch (24-cm) round cake for a nice single-layer cake if desired. Coconut Flour Birthday “Smash” Cake (Makes One 2 layer 4-inch smash cake) Ingredients: For the cake: 1/2 cup (60g) coconut flour, sifted 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp baking soda 5 large (US size) eggs 1/2 cup (112g) coconut oil 1/2 cup (175 ml) honey or maple syrup 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 tsp lemon juice 3 STEP HONEY CARAMEL 1. In a medium heavy bottomed sauce pan, combine all ingredients and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
