It might hide some of the imperfections in the floor, cover some of the stains, etc. So, we got the cleaner/etcher and I spent a Saturday cleaning one bay of the garage. I even used it as one of my photo of the day pics. MAIL ORGANIZER!! DIY ON THE CHEAP!! Start by gluing the back of one of the slots first, then "stand" it up and glue the bottom. Glue them all down. EASY $1 DIY SPICE RACKS! In my search, I found those cooling racks you use for cooling cookies, and made them into DIY Spice Racks! It only cost $3 for all of them! I knew those cooling racks would work! Hubby didn't think they would, that while bending them, I would break the weld. But heck for $1 I'mwilling to try it!
DIY BOARD & BATTEN IN THE KITCHEN Someone used thinner boards for their board and batten. Plus, the base cabinets had a 1/4" lip on the sides that would work perfect with a thinner board. So, I went to Lowes in search of something, I really had no clue what to look for or what I'd find, but I had success! I MAIL ORGANIZER!! DIY ON THE CHEAP!! Start by gluing the back of one of the slots first, then "stand" it up and glue the bottom. Glue them all down. Then wrap the other frame and glue those ends down. Where the 2 frames meet, I just folded the fabric over and glued it. The back has some extra fabric, I HOW TO UPDATE YOUR SHUTTERS Each shutter is attached with 6 shutter pins. It's like a plastic 'nail' with barbs on them to keep them in place. The easiest way to remove them is to slide a hammer behind the pin and gently pry. The flip the hammer and pry the other way gently pulling each way untilthe pin comes out.
