FARMHOUSE FLOORS FROM PINE PLANKS (HOW TO DIY IT) Farmhouse floors have always been my favorite, you know.. the warm, worn, wood floors that are perfectly (and naturally) aged. Unless you purchase salvaged flooring, it’s really hard to get the actual patina of worn down floors. HOW TO MAKE SLIPCOVERS You’ll need to mark and trace onto the fabric, and to do that I use my favorite pencils. While you’re at it, make sure you have a pencil sharpener, too. Fabric tends to dull pencils very quickly. Once you get the fabric measured, traced and cut, you’ll also need to pin it together using some straight pins. OUTDOOR RUG ON THE CHEAP (AN EASY DIY PROJECT!) Using cheap – NOT DUSTLESS – chalk, trace around the pattern, then move it to the right and left, making a whole line all the way across the rug. Use the bowl to put water in to soak your chalk, because dry chalk won’t show up well – but wet chalk does. It will take a lot of chalk, so be sure to have 5-6 sticks to be sure you have enough. SPICY GRILLED SHRIMP TACOS (CHILI'S COPYCAT RECIPE) Heat a grill pan over medium/high heat and wipe surface with olive oil. Season the shrimp with the salt, pepper and chili powder, and then grill for 3-5 minutes until done. SAUCE. In a small bowl, mix together the mayo, sweet chili sauce and Siracha together. ASSEMBLE. THE SHABBY CREEK COTTAGE Hundreds of ideas for creative ways to eat, make & decorate! SUMMER FARMHOUSE HOME TOUR (BUDGET-FRIENDLY DECORATING IDEAS!) Summer Farmhouse Home Tour.
