FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS The feeling is often described as a sharp, mean pain. You can compare it to a cat’s scratch. The difference is that the pain stops at the moment the artist stops tattooing. After 10 to 15 minutes your body gets used to the feeling. Your body also starts to produce lightly

numbing substances.

TATTOO AFTER CARE

Firstly wash your hands with the Unicura soap. Then foam some soap in your hands, moisten the tattoo and gently wash and rinse. It’s normal that some of the redundant ink comes off. My work originates from a deep love for the ritual and mysticism involved in the proces of tattooing ones skin. In this proces, we bring into existence what has not been physically perceptible before. Within this grounding movement of tattooing, we find the most powerful potential transformations. Whether this is a healing, softening CEE — THE INK SOCIETY I’m also inspired by art history, painting, botanical gardens, queerness, old illustrations and the wonders of daily life. ROMINA — THE INK SOCIETY Romina. I studied Illustration at the Willem de Kooning Academy, Rotterdam, where I specialised in painting and drawing. In 2007 I traveled to Baltimore, USA to study at the Maryland Institute College of Art for a semester, where I focused on the areas of visual storytelling and character development.Storytelling and character development because I love reading: books and words have inspired ELSKE — THE INK SOCIETY Elske is not available for tattoo requests. TATTOO AFTER CARE

Firstly wash your hands with the Unicura soap. Then foam some soap in your hands, moisten the tattoo and gently wash and rinse. It’s normal that some of the redundant ink comes off. Softly dab it dry with a clean towel. Try to use a clean towel after every wash, especially the first days while the wound is RICK — THE INK SOCIETY Rick. I love designs that give room for the imagination. I like to play with different styles. Within those styles, abstraction, pattern and experiment are recurring elements.
