RIDE LASSO REVIEW, PRICE COMPARISON & BUYERS GUIDE Ride Lasso 2017 - 2014 Review by The Good Ride User Reviews; Product Images; Company Info; Questions? The Ride Lasso is a great boot for those that want BOA, a reduced footprint, good flex retention, and a middle response boot to fit a wide variety of boards.. Ethics Statement: We don’t get paid by the manufacturer to write these reviews.. No one is perfect and we do make money from the YES GREATS 2011-2020 SNOWBOARD REVIEW The Yes Greats is a really well-liked mountain friendly asymmetrical twin among our crew. The 2016-2018 Yes Greats are from a different factory so they feel less stiff but more poppy and playful than the previous model. It makes it much more of a well rounded less aggressive mountain freestyle twin. 2018 Yes Greats Uninc is the same board as 2017 except the reference stance width is narrowed 1 K2 ANAGRAM REVIEW BY THE GOOD RIDE The K2 Anagram is a good beginner Twin shaped snowboard despite the fact it has an extruded base. An extruded base is less expensive and more sturdy but a bit slower than the very common sintered base you see on most snowboards. The one positive is about an extruded base is that it doesn’t require consistent waxing and that makes it good for LIB TECH CORTADO 2020 SNOWBOARD REVIEW The Lib Tech Cortado is a directional board with some taper as well. So should do pretty well in powder, but it also has Lib’s more aggressive Magne-Traction for those icy days too. So if you are an intermediate to advanced rider with mid-wide feet, looking for a do it all board that likes to go fast the Lib Tech Cortado could be a good option.. NITRO PANTERA REVIEW AND BUYING ADVICE The Nitro Pantera is an Advanced to Expert aggressive Freeride board for the mid/wide rider. BURTON CLASH SNOWBOARD REVIEW BY THE GOOD RIDE The Burton Clash is kind of unique because it’s an entry-level Freeride board. Usually, you don’t see a soft forgiving board with a tapered tail and a pretty sizable setback. It’s one Achilles heel is the lack of edge hold as the snow get’s firm to hard. If you are only going to ride in good conditions then this could work. SALOMON SYNAPSE BOA REVIEW AND BUYERS GUIDE Salomon Synapse BOA 2015 - 2013 Review by The Good Ride User Reviews; Past Reviews; Product Images; Company Info; Questions? The Salomon Synapse BOA is the Synapse with a different lacing system for those that must have BOA. The 2015 Salomon Synapse BOA boot has a more reduced footprint that isn’t amazing but it’s much better than past years and closer to the Salomon F-Series. THIRTYTWO TM-TWO REVIEW AND BUYING ADVICE The TM two is almost a lace version of the 32 Focus BOA and makes for a very similar ride. The sole and design of the boot are very similar so if it fits you well, you want a light boot and as a med/stiff traditional lace boot the TM Two isn’t a bad choice. Powder : The Yes Optimistic 2020 is very close to the 2019 model in terms of powder float. It is centered on sidecut but still has a 9.25″ difference between nose and tail and 4.625″ back on board with the 157 at a 23″ stance width. 2015-2020 NEVER SUMMER CHAIRMAN SNOWBOARD REVIEW The Never Summer Chairman is a pretty aggressive hybrid rocker freeride board that offers up a pretty solid ride in powder and not a bad ride at all when it’s a groomer day. Our only complaint is we’d like to see it with the NS Ripsaw Camber Profile instead of the less aggressive Rocker and Camber Profile. BURTON FISH 2010-2018 SNOWBOARD REVIEW Approximate Weight: Feels like it’s on the light side of normal but all boards aren’t consistent when it comes to weight. Flex: Seems medium-ish. It’s snappy and semi-playful but doesn’t feel like too much of a butter board. It’s easier than you would think to butter and it’s great for a powder wheelie off the tail. BURTON CUSTOM X 2010-2017 SNOWBOARD REVIEW The 2013 Burton Custom X is a little stiffer but it’s still close to the 2012 in terms of all around ride but to us it wasn’t noticeable enough to expand on. The 2012 and 2013 Burton Custom X added “Squeeze Box” tech to the 2012 which helps improve the flex between the feet. This helps EST bindings flex even better under foot. We felt a bit of a difference on some other Burton boards BURTON DRIVER X 2016-2010 SNOWBOARD BOOT REVIEW Flex: The Burton Driver X used to be a very very stiff boot. It actually felt like a ski boot in the old days. In 2010 Burton softened up the boot a lot and for the first time you could flex the top into the toe. The response was lessened a bit in 2010 but not as much as you would think for it being soo soft.THE GOOD RIDE
