TRUMP’S DREAM OF SPACE FORCE MOVES ONE STEP CLOSER TO REALITY President Trump launched a new U.S. Space Command this week, saying in a statement "...when it comes to defending America, it is not enough to merely have an American presence in space. We must have American dominance in space.” Cécile Shea joined _Chicago Tonight_ to discuss the new command and its role in U.S. national security.

A SHELL PLANT COERCED WORKERS INTO ATTENDING A TRUMP RALLY. HERE’S WHAT THAT MEANS FOR DEMOCRACY. Shell threatened its workers with the loss of their wages unless they attended a recent speech by President Trump at their Royal Dutch Shell plant in Pennsylvania. By doing so, the company made corporate coercion a nationwide concern for the first time in more than 100 years, Council fellow Gideon Cohn-Postar writes in _The Washington Post_'s _Monkey Cage_.
