As has been the recent pattern, the week began today with a quiet, low-volume trade. OK, fine. But the recent pattern has also included a sharp increase in volatility as the week progresses and you can be certain that this week will unfold in a similar manner. In what is either a short squeeze or buying panic, the bond market soared again today with some of the lowest yields in 100 days. So which is it because that's kind of important. If it's a buying panic and sudden rush to "safety", what the heck is going on that we don't know about? The yield on the 10-year note is now down 15 basis points THIS WEEK and is back to the lows seen for about twoTFMR PODCAST
As has been the recent pattern, the week began today with a quiet, low-volume trade. OK, fine. But the recent pattern has also included a sharp increase in volatility as the week progresses and you can be certain that this week will unfold in a similar manner. For today, though, it was a real yawner. The POSX rallied overnight and the Comex PMs fell.
