Opening block 14 - Supply TVP: MAINSTREAM 2-1-1 BUILDS Here is a list of the common builds, Economy focused three Barracks (usually CC first) One base 1-1-1 all-in with Cyclone, Tankivac, Marine and Liberator. Quick three Command Centres. Proxy tech. 2-1-1 variations. I pick the 2-1-1 variations over others, because it is arguably more versatile and “standard” for learning purposes.1-1-1 VERSUS 2-1-1
In my opinion, the best way to differentiate 1-1-1 and 2-1-1 is the focus of production in the early game. 2-1-1 focuses on bio production, while 1-1-1 focuses on tech production. I had made a post last year about these two builds in TvP based on this distinction. Although I label both as “2-1-1”, the tech-oriented build isclearly a 1-1-1.

SCOUTING BASICS
As I had mentioned previously, I will do some guides for beginners. Scouting seems like a good topic as it has often been misunderstood. This post covers the basics, and does not go in details for match up specific scouting. Unlike chess, Starcraft is a game of imperfect information. Gathering information of your opponent and TVP: STANDARD 3-1-1 FRAMEWORK Powering up on two bases with a 3-1-1 set up and moving out with Stim and two Medivacs is the most common build up in TvP for a long time. This article answers some questions I received and discusses some lesser known details. This post is voted by TVT: USING BIO AGAINST MECH TvT: Using Bio Against Mech. I was asked how to use bio against mech. This article discusses the fundamentals in the bio versus mech match up. There are different mech styles, and each requires you to play differently. The most common style is Siege Tank heavy and uses Hellbats (with Medivac) and Vikings as support. TVZ: DIFFERENT TYPES OF BATTLECRUISER MECH The Hellion and Battlecruiser combination is the most popular build in TvZ now. In this article, I discuss three main mech styles that use Battlecruisers. I discussed in the last post that Battlecruisers are used in both bio and mech composition in the current metagame, and I'm going to focus on mech in this post. UNDERSTANDING CONVERGENT POINTS (PART 1) Recently, I helped a friend to review his game. I noticed that his mechanics is good but he doesn't understand "convergent point".
