This decoder includes a 6-pin harness for easy installation and wiring. These decoders are commonly used for smoke coils. 4-PIN MICRO CONNECTOR (BLACK AND WHITE WIRES) Description. This is a simple, four pin, 1 mm (0.039") pitch, micro quick plug wired connector. These amazing new micro connectors are nearly half the size of our popular, super-small Mini Connectors that we have offered for years. When connected together it is .122" wide by .059" tall by .177" long, and it has 6" long wires on both ends. | TRAIN CONTROL SYSTEMS This installation uses the TCS WOW121-Diesel Decoder, AS-MB2 NC with KA4 Keep Alive® and UNIV-SH4-C WOWSpeaker Kit. The Life Like Proto 2000 GP18 shown prior to installation. To start the installation, remove the screws highlighted in red above and pull out both of the couplers. Next, remove these two screws at each end of the chassis.

After you remove the shell you will see a DC lighting board like the one above. Slide the lighting board towards the back of the locomotive and lift to remove it. Be sure to apply an insulator (here | TRAIN CONTROL SYSTEMS Insert the TCS 28mm WOWsound speaker into the frame opening and secure it with the original mounting clips. Attach the AS-MB2 NC motherboard to the top of the speaker magnet with double sided foam tape and a using small dab of hot melt glue placed on top of the trimmed mounting post. WOW501-STEAM

WOW501-Steam. The WOW501 is a universal, 5 Amp sound decoder for large-scale locomotives. The WOW501 includes Keep Alive® on-board for stutter-free operation. Function 5 and 6 may be programmed to control a smoke unit with a coil and fan. By programming CV58 with a value of 9, the smoke unit will react to the chuff timing. | TRAIN CONTROL SYSTEMS Using double sided foam tape, mount the WOW101 Diesel Decoder to the frame as shown above. | TRAIN CONTROL SYSTEMS This installation uses the TCS WOW121-Diesel Decoder, AS-MB2 NC with KA4 Keep Alive® and UNIV-SH4-C WOWSpeaker Kit. The Life Like Proto 2000 GP18 shown prior to installation. To start the installation, remove the screws highlighted in red above and pull out both of the couplers. Next, remove these two screws at each end of the chassis. FL2 | TRAIN CONTROL SYSTEMS FL2. This function-only decoder is designed for any scale where extra lighting features and functions are needed. This decoder includes a 6-pin harness for easy installation and wiring. These decoders are commonly used for smoke coils. 4-PIN MICRO CONNECTOR (BLACK AND WHITE WIRES) Description. This is a simple, four pin, 1 mm (0.039") pitch, micro quick plug wired connector. These amazing new micro connectors are nearly half the size of our popular, super-small Mini Connectors that we have offered for years. When connected together it is .122" wide by .059" tall by .177" long, and it has 6" long wires on both ends. | TRAIN CONTROL SYSTEMS Place the locomotive up-side-down (as shown in the picture above) and gently remove its chassis by starting from the front and pulling the chassis backwards and out of the shell.
