Emirati Experiences is a programme of tours specially designed by Emirati tour guides that offer exceptional experiences for visitors, giving them a glimpse into a side of UAE culture, heritage and history up-close and through deeper layers. TANGIBLE & INTANGIBLE HERITAGE Tangible & Intangible Heritage. Historic monuments, ancient buildings, oases and natural heritage are the essential elements that constitute Abu Dhabi’s historic environment. It is part of our mandate to uncover traces of the emirate’s ancient civilizations, as well as to document, preserve and ensure the maintenance of historic buildings. HOTEL PERFORMANCE REPORTS Hotel Performance Reports. We operate an online revenue and statistics system, in collaboration with all the emirate’s hospitality establishments, where they can submit updated revenue and guest information. From the data collated, we are able to record, monitor and track Abu Dhabi’s hotel performance using key indicators such asnumber of

Discover Abu Dhabi is our official travel agent training programme. The programme is designed to help travel agents increase their knowledge of the emirate, to learn more about what there is to see and do in Abu Dhabi, and to help increase sales to this culturally diversedestination.
TOURISM LICENSING SYSTEM The E-Licensing online system has delivered total system transparency and drastically reduced licensing processing times. This world-class licensing and regulation system was designed in collaboration with industry stakeholders and benchmarked to best practices. HOTEL REVENUE & TOURISM STATISTICS We operate an online revenue and statistics system that is used by the emirate’s hotel establishments to submit their revenue and guest statistics. This system is accessible via a username and password to licensed hotel establishments only. INDUSTRY AND TOURIST GUIDE TRAINING The Industry and Tourist Guide Training Unit undertakes initiatives to educate tourism sector stakeholders about applicable policies, rules and regulations, and encourages the voluntary adoption of bestpractices.
LIBRARY CATALOGUE
The library catalogue is not just a bibliographic tool to search for information about books and sources of information available at the library: it is also a platform for communication between the libraryand readers.
EVENTS LICENSING SYSTEM All exhibitions, conferences and meetings conducted in Abu Dhabi require a permit. The permit is required to assist us to prepare statistics and manage business events within the emirate, with the overall goal of growing the event industry. EXHIBITION SPACES BOOKING APPLICATION We participate with key stakeholders in regional and international exhibitions worldwide, ranging across trade, MICE, luxury and consumer-based platforms.E-CLASSIFICATION
The E-Classification System is an online framework for analysing classification scores based on mandatory, rating and scoring criteria. Built into the online system is a communication and reporting mechanism which is accessible by stakeholders. SPONSORSHIP APPLICATION We take a proactive approach in attracting world-class events and encouraging promoters from around the world to consider Abu Dhabi as the next destination to stage their next event. FAMILIARISATION TRIPS In collaboration with key stakeholders, we host a number of destination familiarisation trips for selected trade, media and MICE partners.
