Brown Rice with Kale. March 10, 2021 By Dayna. This is not just a recipe with rice & kale! This recipe is filled so much flavor! Brown Rice with Kale is infused with butter, garlic, Parmesan cheese & toasted almonds! This side dish just might compete with the main dishon your plate!

Instructions. In a large bowl, mix the mashed potato, milk, vanilla, & salt with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes. Add 6 cups of the powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time. Add the last cup of powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time. Once the mixture creates a dough, you have added enough powdered sugar.HYDRATING SALAD
Ingredients. 1- pint cherry tomatoes halved. 1 English cucumber diced. 1 bell pepper diced (red, orange, or yellow) 1 15- oz can black beans rinsed and drained. 1 1/4 cups corn fresh is best, but frozen (thawed or canned (drained) will work too) 1 avocado diced. 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped. Juice ofWHOLE LEMON PIE
Instructions. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Trim the ends off the lemon. Cut into thin slices and remove the seeds. Add the lemon slices, butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract into a blender or food processor. Blend until completely smooth and creamy. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell. CINNAMON SUGAR BLONDIES Add the egg and vanilla. Stir to combine. Add the flour and salt. Stir until fully combined. Spread the batter in the prepared dish. The batter is thick, so just keep spreading until you have an even surface. Combine the sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over the top of the batter. Bake for 22 minutes or until a toothpick in the center comesout clean.

If I am feeling good or a bit under the weather, this Slow Cooker Split Pea Soup is the first thing I want to have. LENTIL & SPINACH SOUP (SLOW COOKER STYLE) In a 6 quart or larger slow cooker, add all of the ingredients except for the spinach and red wine vinegar. Stir and cover. Cook on low for 7 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours. About 15 minutes before the soup is finished cooking, remove the bay leaf. Add the spinach and redwine vinegar.

Add the milk, cream, dry mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine. Add the cheese, and continue to stir until melted. Pour the cheese mixture over the potatoes. GARLIC PARMESAN ROASTED POTATOES Lightly oil a large baking sheet. Place the potatoes on the prepared baking sheet. Add the olive oil, garlic, Italian seasoning, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the potatoes. Spread the potatoes in a single layer. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until crispy and golden brown. Stir the potatoes halfway throughbaking.
CHILI CHEESE BAKED POTATOES Instructions. Slice the warm baked potatoes lengthwise. Mash the interior of the potatoes halves to allow the chili to get in the potatoes. Optional step: Add desired amount of butter, salt & pepper to the potatoes. Top 1/2 cup of chili to each potato half. Sprinkle1/4

SLOW COOKER ROASTED TOMATO BISQUE In a slow cooker, add the tomatoes, onion, carrot, celery, tomato paste, thyme, vegetable broth, heavy cream, and desired amount of salt and pepper. Add the flour & water mixture. Stir to combine the ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. Once the soup is ready, use an immersion blender to blend untilsmooth.
MAGNOLIA LEMON PIE
Crust. Combine the graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, and melted butter in a small bowl. Stir until fully combined. Evenly press the mixture into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch deep-dish pie plate. Bake for 8 minutes or until light golden brown. Set aside to cool. SPANISH CHICKPEAS AND RICE Stir and saute the spices in the garlic and oil for 1 minute. Add the onion to the skillet. Saute until the onion is soft and translucent, around 5 minutes. Add the rice and saute for 2 minutes. Add the chickpeas, artichoke hearts, tomatoes with juices, vegetable broth, and salt. Add the parsley leaving a small amount for sprinkling whenserving.

Brown Rice with Kale. March 10, 2021 By Dayna. This is not just a recipe with rice & kale! This recipe is filled so much flavor! Brown Rice with Kale is infused with butter, garlic, Parmesan cheese & toasted almonds! This side dish just might compete with the main dishon your plate!

Instructions. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Trim the ends off the lemon. Cut into thin slices and remove the seeds. Add the lemon slices, butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract into a blender or food processor. Blend until completely smooth and creamy. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell.HYDRATING SALAD
Ingredients. 1- pint cherry tomatoes halved. 1 English cucumber diced. 1 bell pepper diced (red, orange, or yellow) 1 15- oz can black beans rinsed and drained. 1 1/4 cups corn fresh is best, but frozen (thawed or canned (drained) will work too) 1 avocado diced. 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped. Juice of NO-BAKE BUTTERFINGER PIE Instructions. In a large bowl, add the cream cheese and whipped topping. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until creamy and smooth. Crush 12 of the fun size Butterfinger bars. Add the crushed bars to the cream cheese mixture. Stir to incorporate. Spoon the mixture into the pie crust, and smooth the top. CINNAMON SUGAR BLONDIES Add the egg and vanilla. Stir to combine. Add the flour and salt. Stir until fully combined. Spread the batter in the prepared dish. The batter is thick, so just keep spreading until you have an even surface. Combine the sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over the top of the batter. Bake for 22 minutes or until a toothpick in the center comesout clean.

SLOW COOKER SPLIT PEA SOUP This split pea soup is my version of comfort. If I need something wholesome and soothing to eat, split pea soup is for me. If I am feeling good or a bit under the weather, this Slow Cooker Split Pea Soup is the first thing I want to have. SLOW COOKER ROASTED TOMATO BISQUE In a slow cooker, add the tomatoes, onion, carrot, celery, tomato paste, thyme, vegetable broth, heavy cream, and desired amount of salt and pepper. Add the flour & water mixture. Stir to combine the ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. Once the soup is ready, use an immersion blender to blend untilsmooth.
ASIAN ROASTED CARROTS & BROCCOLI Set aside. In a bowl, toss the carrots, garlic and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Place on the baking sheet and evenly distribute. Place in the oven and bake for 15 minutes. While the carrots are roasting, toss the broccoli and remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a bowl. Once the carrots have roasted for 15 minutes, remove from the oven. Instructions. In a large bowl, mix the mashed potato, milk, vanilla, & salt with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes. Add 6 cups of the powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time. Add the last cup of powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time. Once the mixture creates a dough, you have added enough powdered sugar. MAGNOLIA LEMON PIE
Crust. Combine the graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, and melted butter in a small bowl. Stir until fully combined. Evenly press the mixture into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch deep-dish pie plate. Bake for 8 minutes or until light golden brown. Set aside to cool. GARLIC PARMESAN ROASTED POTATOES Lightly oil a large baking sheet. Place the potatoes on the prepared baking sheet. Add the olive oil, garlic, Italian seasoning, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the potatoes. Spread the potatoes in a single layer. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until crispy and golden brown. Stir the potatoes halfway throughbaking.

The founders of Momakat Rescue and I took shifts on the bottle feeding. They bottle fed for a few days, and I bottle fed for a few days. Some kittens took to bottle feeding more than others. Sophie would still try to nurse her kittens, but with the aid of medication, she slowly was able to start producing milk more and more each day.TABS & TIDBITS

Now that the weather is starting to finally feel like fall, these beds are perfect for a warm cat nap! As for our current foster kitten, Maverick, I am so excited to announce that Maverick is no longer a bottle kitten! Maverick is fully weaned yet fully spoiled. He will be with us for another week or two, so we are soaking in all the quality time we can get with sweetMaverick!
