They were revered by the people of ancient Egypt which is how they got their name. Even our trees have been specially curated to ensure an unforgettable experience. Here is one of our Chinese Elm Trees (Ulmus parvifolia) ready to plant its roots in its winter state. . Introducing Sile (pronounced see-ley), one of the female chimpanzees we have here at #SydneyZoo. . She turns 13 this year and being of adolescent age, is known as the playful one in the group. . On top of fresh vegetables, the troop loves "browsing" and is frequently given branches of trees to encourage foraging behaviour. .
