WHAT POWER GENNY IS NEEDED FOR TYRE WARMERS? Posts: n/a. Re: What power genny is needed for tyre warmers? The tyre warmers should have the wattage printed on the info label ( you know the one, it has serial numbers and the like on too ). You'll need a generator that has more capacity than that. A quick scadge on google says 600 to 1200 watts is likely for motorcycle warmers. JUST HOW QUICK IS AN SV650? Re: Just how quick is an SV650? If you have your tyre nice and warm and a bit of weight leaning forward it can be fun setting off as fast as possible! I think 0-60 on an SV650 is around 3.5secs and I think 0-100 is around 10-12secs. You won't get smoked trust me it's keeping the front end down that's the problem. WHICH SPARK PLUGS TO GET? Suzuki manual states NGK CR8E or Denso blah blah. Haynes says the same, but recommends NGKCR9E or Denso U27ESR-N for extended high speed riding. Tips - Despite the tool kit that comes with the bike not being perfect, the spark plug tool in mine was very useful for removing the plugs. 29-10-09, 09:13 PM. HOW TO TELL IF MY BIKE IS RESTRICTED? Basically there are you ways to restrict the curvy SV.. either with different sliders, or with washers in the inlets. To check for the washers: Get the tank up, airbox off, loosen the clips on the inlets and lift the carbs up. You'll be able to see the washers if they're inthere.
TPS ADJUSTMENT STEP-BY-STEP PICTORIAL GUIDE Well, here it is - the long awaited pictorial of the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) Adjustment . Q: What does it do?? A: Basically, Fuel injected Suzukis have a sensor that senses what revs the engine is at and then tells the fuel injection and engine management systems to alter (basically to start squirting more fuel into the cylinders). FITTING LED INDICATORS For LED's you need resistors not relays, just plugs into the line with a spade connector. I bought Oxford Nano's which came with resistors supplied, plus instructions, piece of cake to do. Don't buy cheapo LED's. You can do it with resistors or by replacing the stock relay. HOW MUCH POWER DOES A TRICKLE CHARGER USE? Say it's a 100amp/h battery. 100amp x 12v = 1200 watts. 1kw/h = 16p on an average tariff? So it costs about 20p maybe to fully charge anempty battery.
