GROWING GREEN: HOW HERBS CAN HELP THE PLANET Growing Green: how herbs can help the planet by Melanie Barker Recently I read an article in the paper about the current food to population-growth ratio and it stated that Earth will need to produce 70% more food by 2050 in order to sustain a predicted population of over 9 billion people . A SUSTAINABLE SEAFOOD RECIPE: AUSTRALIAN SALMON 1. Preheat oven to 200C. Salt both sides of the fish and the inside. Insert the bay leaves and rosemary into the cavity. 2. Grab a baking tray, drizzle with a little olive oil and place a few of the slices of lemon in a row in the middle of the tray. Place the fish on top.DAIRY DIARIES
Expand. 100% pasture-fed and varying amounts of grain/concentrate to supplement. Australian dairy cows are predominantly grass-fed (pastured), however most farmers supplement pasture with grain or other supplementary feed (eg, pellets).
