One thing I’ve been pleasantly shocked by during pregnancy • my intuition with my body & movement - it’s amazing! I’ve had multiple people ask me • how do you know what & when to modify in workout classes? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Yes, I’ve learned the basics of what you can & can’t do, but the truth is • my body tells me! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For instance, twisting has never felt very comfortable to me (& presents more risk in the first trimester) • I also had a feeling when to stop planking, stop doing full push-ups as well as other core-related moves • in my 3rd trimester it's been very obvious what "feels good" & what I just don't want to take a chance on • ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Either way, sometimes my body feels like it hasn't worked out or stretched in decades & sometimes I feel like I'm the most fit pregnant woman on the planet! It's been such a journey & I feel lucky enough to have been able to MOVE throughout the last 9 months • it’s definitely saved my sanity & thankfully might help me through delivery & postpartum •
