2 POINT TREMOLO PARALLEL BALANCE 19 hours ago · On my us deluxe Strat, I have recently been trying out the 2 point trem floating ever so slightly (approx1mm) parallel to the body. I really like the feel of the trem this way and does what I need it to but I’m not getting great tuning stability. RARE AM STANDARD AND MYSTERY BRIDGE. I'm curious about what bridge they used for this Stratocaster. It is from 2010 and it is called the "Guitar Center Pro American Standard Fender Special Run" or something like that. In regards to 2 3/16" measurements, I have not actually seen a specification diagram that uses that measurement. 50TH ANNIVERSARY STRATS I bought my guitar about three years ago used for $675 with a Fender hard case, and I didn't consider that to be a bargain price. FENDER FAT 50'S, ANALYSIS AND REVIEW The middle is ideally supposed to be in the middle, spec wise, and if you look at the inductance, it is. Fender's own DC resistance numbers for the Fat 50's put the middle higher than the bridge, and I suspect that this wasn't their plan, but rather they have target wind counts, which is obvious considering that a winding machine has a wind counter on it, not a DC resistance meter.STRAT-TALK HOME

American Ultra - has a D-shaped neck with a PLAYER STRATOCASTER VS AMERICAN PRO STRATOCASTER Feb 29, 2012. Location: Chicagoland. A player is a great guitar. The only thing is, quality control tends to be better on the US models than on the mexican models, so if you're buying sight unseen, you have a higher chance of receiving a guitar with an issue if you buy theplayer.
CORRECT NUT HEIGHT?
I also think my nut is way too high.I just measured it and its just over 2/64 at the first fret on both treble and bass side. From what ive been able to gather from internet searches, the string at the first fret should be considerable lower than that on the treble side DIY: How to Set Up a Fender Stratocaster I am also struggling with the action height. The link I just posted says to measure MAPLE OR PAU FERRO FRETBOARD? So I want to buy a Mexican made, Player series sss strat (3-color sunburst) and i can't choose maple or pau ferro fretboard I've heard that the Maple is a bit uncomfortable on bending in comparison with the pau ferro fretboard, and I bend a lot so I was thinking of pau ferro, but I think maple looks better than pau ferro on a sunburst strat, and I saw a youtube video with a guy comparing STRING HEIGHT OVER 1ST FRET IN MM For me the most important part of set-up is the string height over at 12th fret which determines how the truss rod should be adjusted, the string height over at 1th fret isn't much hard to achieve right if you install the nut correctly it should be just enough a NPD | FENDER STRATOCASTER GUITAR FORUM 23 hours ago · About us. 2009 FENDER AMERICAN STANDRAD STRATOCASTER Joined: Aug 7, 2009. Location: austin texas. It was a great year for Strats and that model.hard to find a bad one really. The pickups then were the American std pickups which got changed to Fat 50s a few years later. sonny wolf, May 1, 2017. #4. JACK MADE INCORRECTLY... THINK IT'S SWITCHCRAFT? 1 day ago · Switchcraft makes a jack that has a longer bushing to extend through a thicker mounting panel or a guitar's body wood. If I were guessing, I'd say someone got parts mixed up during assembly: put a standard tip contact on a long-shaft body.RIIIIIIIGHT!
23 hours ago · This popped up on LetGo. A Silver Sky listed at $1000, but in the description at bottom asking for $500 OBO. The seller lists it as "pola red," which I think was supposed to say PolarRed.
FRETBOARDS: MAPLE OR ROSEWOOD? This should be fun. I actually almost tagged you in a post in this thread because I KNEW you’d have this exact comment. Lol*
