LGBT FACTS AND FIGURES GETTING STARTED TOOLKIT (EARLY YEARS) The Early Years stage is a formative time in children’s lives. Early Years settings do crucial work to prevent children from developing homophobic, biphobic and transphobic attitudes. It’s a big piece of work, but done well, it’s life-changing for children and families. This toolkit gets you started in PRIDE LEARNING PACKS Stonewall’s learning packs can be used by parents or carers looking to support their child’s learning, by education staff looking to send work home for their students or by teachers in school. Early Years settings do crucial work to prevent children from developing homophobic, biphobic and transphobic attitudes. It’s a big piece of work, but done well, it’s life-changing for children and families.
