TWEAKING THE EPSON PERFECTION V850 PRO TO GET THE BEST Modification of the Epson V850 pro and V800 film-holder for the 120/220 medium format film and the 4x5" sheet film. The 120 and 4x5" holders that are delivered with the Epson V850 pro didn't live up to my expectations and it was necessary for me to do this mod since the original design make them difficult for me to use and giving me trouble getting the film aligned and to stay flat aver the RANGE ROVER P38 MAINTENANCE REPAIR IMPROVEMENTS AND TIPS Locate the switch/tailgate push-button and remove the electrical connector and. the two screw that are holding the push-button easy in place. Turn/twist the switch/push-button assembly until you can easily remove it. from the tailgate. Now follow the steps below to dismantle the push-button to clean and adjust it. THE DIY HIGH SPEED SLIDE DIGITIZER PROJECT The image above shows my LED light source setup for the DSLR automatic speed slide "scanner". The LED module an driver can be found at Ebay for a reasonable amount of cash the aluminum cooler and fan can probably be found in every DIY selfers stock of "nice to have stuffpile" .

Well wet or fluid mounting of film does have both drawbacks and positive effects for scanning film I will try to list some here. + Fluid mount helps to even out and mask minor scratches dust and defects, it also slightly smooth out film grain. + It does keep the film 100% flat. + Any size of film that fit the glass surface can bescanned.

It is now time to summarize the review.A review that I feel have been an detailed examination of the Epson V850 Pro capability. and even thought I do have some extra material that i will post later (as a silent update).
