On the weekend of February 20th, we will have the opportunity to walk with others as Jesus asks us to do. Together as Catholics, we extend our hand to those who need help. We assist them beyond dire circumstances and to begin again, refreshed and renewed. SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION First Eucharist Formation is a 2-year period of preparation. Beginning in Level 1 (1 st grade), sacrament is then celebrated in Level 2 (2 nd grade). Parents are required to participate in sacrament preparation and meetings. To Enroll in the Preparation of First Eucharist. Child must be registered into St Basil Religious Education Program. EUCHARISTIC ADORATION 40 HOURS - ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT. Twice a year (during Advent and Lent) the Adoration ministry sponsors 40 continuous hours of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in Mary's Chapel. Please consider signing up for an hour of Adoration prayer time. We must make sure that at least two Adorers are in Mary's Chapel to cover eachhour.

The Baptismal preparation process at our parish includes the following: 1. Registered parishioner, attending daily and/or Sunday Masses, and practicing the Catholic faith. MARRIAGE PREPARATION The Marriage Preparation Ministry provides assistance to couples who wish to be married in St. Basil Catholic Church. We work with couples over a six (6) month period preceding the marriage. The program for Solano County is being administered by Catholic Charities of Yolo Solano. $11.9 million dollars is available for rent and utilities arrears for tenants who meet eligiblity requirements.Landlords can apply for theirtenants.

Due to COVID-19 infections, Bishop Soto directed parishes in certain counties to cancel non-essential large gatherings through the end of March. St. Basil has thereby canceled the following gatherings: * Lenten Soup (March 13, 20, 27) * Stations of the Cross * St. Patrick's Day Dinner (March 14) * St. Basil School 70th Anniversary Dinner (March 21). RELIGIOUS EDUCATION (CCD) PROGRAM CHANGES In response to the Directives by the Diocese of Sacramento, the following Religious Education events are suspended until the endof March:
