HOW GOD CHANGES US
If we have received Christ into our hearts, we have been declared His own, forgiven, and now under His grace. It is His grace that frees us and changes us. This is why it is so important to know what Scripture says about God’s grace. We are all aware that inside of us, we have a good part and we have a bad part. THE CHRISTIAN’S SECRET Paul distinguished between two types of Christians: the spiritual Christian and the carnal Christian. 1. The Spiritual Christian This is a Christian who is trusting God, seeking to live life from God’s perspective, having the “mind of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 2:16). The spiritual person has accepted Christ and lives a Christ-centeredlife.
HOW GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH THE BIBLE by Marilyn Adamson. I am amazed at the guidance God gives us. By learning from God’s wisdom and insight, we can live free from many problems that others experience simply because they don’t know His Word. It is through the Bible that we learn who God is, what He values, how to trust Him. I have found a wonderful way to listen toGod through
YOU CAN TRUST GOD WHEN YOU KNOW HIM How important it is to know WHY we trust God. Our faith is as solid as our reasons. There are things you personally know about God that nonbelievers don’t know. Be ready to share it with them. It’s not an easy assignment, but an important one. Always be prepared to explain the hope that is in you. (1Peter 3:15). A FUN WAY TO STUDY THE BIBLE This Devotion part is how we talk to God about what we’ve studied and ask him to work in our lives. You can start with a small book of the Bible – maybe Ephesians, or Colossians, or Philippians. Take a paragraph or two and try it. Next time, do the same thing with thenext set of verses.
WILL THIS LAST?
The following Scripture will help you see what is now true of your relationship with Him. We did not earn a relationship with God, nor do we have to struggle to hold onto it. The Bible is clear about this. Once we placed our faith in Jesus Christ, we were accepted by God. “We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. IF I SIN, WILL I STILL GO TO HEAVEN? Romans 3:20-26 – “Therefore no one will be declared righteous in His sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin. But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all whobelieve.
WHY WE DON’T HAVE TO LISTEN TO SATAN God has no equal. Satan is merely an angel under God’s judgment. Satan attempts to have power over Christians, but we are told, “Greater is He who is in you, than he who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4) Yet Satan tries to discourage Christians. He tempts us tosin
