During my time of living and working in my favourite city ,London I got to travel very often at every opportunity I got. As a teacher holidays are a great perk so this really fuelled my passion for travel.One of my biggest regrets is not starting my blog earlier to document my journeys but then again in #MAZDAVIRTUALROADTRIP EXPLORES THE SOUTH COAST OF KZN The two finalists whose memories I was tasked with recreating were Kavendree Muthu-Kurten and Roselin Pillay, both of whom live in Kwazulu Natal and love exploring the beauty of their home province. After a phone call with these two amazing ladies, the excitement for my #MazdaVirtualRoadTrip really kicked in. I started off with Roselin’s memories, which included the picturesque beaches of WEIRD AND WONDERFUL NEW YEAR’S EVE TRADITIONS AROUND THE WORLD The end of another year is almost upon us, and with that comes News Year’s Eve! Yudhika Sujanani, a local South African chef has captured this beautifully in her latest cook book called Memoirs. This cookbook is so beautifully put together that it captivates the reader with the vibrant images and storytelling from the first page. During my time of living and working in my favourite city ,London I got to travel very often at every opportunity I got. As a teacher holidays are a great perk so this really fuelled my passion for travel.One of my biggest regrets is not starting my blog earlier to document my journeys but then again in LOCKDOWN MEAL IDEAS AND A SHOPPING LIST Egg Fried Rice with leftover rice,eggs,and frozen mix veg. Butternut Soup. Chicken Tikka with salad and use the 2 ingredient pizza base to make Naan. Chickpea Curry. Mince Kebabs in a curry or grilled and put into pita bread. Thai Green Chicken Curry. Chicken or Lamb Currycooked in yoghurt.
CHICKEN KALYAA #RECIPE METHOD. 1) cut chicken pieces and wash. 2)mix the yoghurt with masala and ginger and garlic together. 3)add chicken to yoghurt mixture,mix well cover and leave to marinade for an hour. 4)Chop onions and fry in butter ghee till golden add curry leaves and green chillies. 5)Add chicken mixture and allow to cook for 20min.
