TUTORIAL - HOW TO COMPRESS BASS For the ratio, attack time and release, keep the previous settings, but adjust your threshold to hit only 4 dB of compression. For a more aggressive feel, you can up the ratio. Now duplicate your compressor so that you end up with 2 compressors on your bass channel, both hitting 4 dB of gain reduction respectively. Missing is the option of two-channel mode operation (Left/Right or Mid/Side) and it has 6 bands rather than 24. But don’t underestimate our plug-in. It still has a generous selection of 27 filter types, and the “Butterworth” filters offer variable slopes just as they do infull version.

REVIEW: ESSENTIALS MAYHEM OF LOOPS UVI Quantity and Quality. The new version brings 3000 new loops, increasing the number of loops to an impressive 8000. The quality is the same as with many other UVI products – basically, as good as it gets. Basses, mids and highs are nicely balanced, all loops are clear, well-defined and punchy. REVIEW - DCO-106 BY CHERRY AUDIO The 106 was very easy to program, included a DCO, 24 dB/octave low pass filter (that could self-oscillate), a non-resonant high pass filter, patch memory and a great sounding stereo chorus effect.
