NIGERIAN PUFF PUFF RECIPE.... VIDEO Add flour into a deep bowl, add the salt, sugar, nutmeg, baking powder and pepper, mix thoroughly. Then add the yeast, mix thoroughly. Now, gradually add the water. Do make sure you use lukewarm water as the yeast won’t get activated if you use cold water and hot water will kill the yeast, so be sure to use lukewarm water. EASY CHICKEN STIR-FRY RECIPE Place on medium heat. When the oil is hot, fry the chicken till golden brown, then remove from the pan and set aside. Gbegiri soup is a very popular Nigerian beans soup. It’s made with black eyed or brown beans. Gbegiri soup has got to be one of the easiest, no fuss soups to make, if you’ve never attempted it, you’ll be shocked to find out just how easy it is. NIGERIAN SHRIMP FRIED RICE Divide the Rice into two parts, also divide the cooked Veggies into two, add one part of the rice and one part of the Veggies into the wok, taste for seasoning, adjust of necessary, combine. Decrease the heat to low, add the Green Onions. Fry for a further 3-4 minutes to fully combine. Add the cooked Shrimps back in and combine with theRice.
OFE OWERRI - SISI JEMIMAH Ofe Owerri, is a very popular traditional vegetable soup from the Igbo people of Eastern Nigeria. “Ofe” means soup and “Owerri” is the capital of Imo state in South Eastern Nigeria, so as you can guess already, Ofe Owerri is peculiar to the people of Owerri especially.SCOTCH EGGS
Scotch Eggs are one of my favourite Nigerian snacks ever. My absolute best are Nigerian Chicken Pies, followed quite closely by Nigerian Meat Pies.I do realise Scotch eggs did not originate from Nigeria but they are so popular in Nigeria, one may as well class it as a Nigeriandelicacy.
