Hi everyone!

It has been a while since the last post/release, and some of you might have noticed that the patreon “disappeared”. To sum it up, Silver and I have reached a point where it has become difficult to continue translating Ossan’s and Mitsuki’ stories, mostly due to RL reasons and a certain something called “burnout”. So… I guess you can consider this our notice of “Hiatus (Duration:

undetermined)”?

As a reader, I know how annoying it is to read a series, reach the latest available chapter and then sit around waiting for something to happen… and then it is 3 months later and you can only assume that the people involved went AWOL or missing. This is why I wanted to at least give the people who still come here a heads-up, to let you know what happened on our end. Thats way better than… say disappear for 6 months minimum and then return to post a message about stopping translation that could fit into a tweet. Thank you so much for your support over the last few years, and thank you for joining us on Arc’s, Ossan’s and Mitsuki’s journeys. I had a lot of fun reading and working on the stories here, and I hope you enjoyed our work! In the future we will probably return and continue translating or find a new story in the case of somebody else picking up our series.

I’m got strike one because of the lateness of my release. Long story short, I lost a day off last week because someone quit. Namorax will resume editing after this release. Not much to say otherwise, but while I’m here I’d suggest checking out The Skeleton Knight Couldn’t Protect the Dungeon

I’m gonna be posting the second chapter to patreon after I go get something to eat. I really didn’t consider the 1 day delay when I was making that schedule. Does a chapter showing up on patreon on time, but a day late on the site count as a strike? I’m leaning towards no, but I’m a bias party. What do you guys think?

Just letting you guys know that we haven’t been sitting on our asses the last couple of weeks. I’m happy to report that Silver Lining has a schedule now. Starting next week we  will be releasing 2 chapters of BASM and 1 Arafroo chapter every two weeks. I’ve spent most of my free time playing VTMB translating a small pile of chapters to in case RL starts getting in the way again. If we break from the schedule more than 3 times, I will be closing the patreon. Personal issues aside, our output hasn’t justified having the page up. Should the closure happen, I will continue translating BASM until the massive backlog is cleared out. Finally, for the 5 or so people interested, I’ll be resuming work on my own web novel this month. Jesus Christ it’s been over a month since the last chapter?! Someone has some explaining to do. In all seriousness things have been pretty hectic for Namorax and me. They have been finishing out their last bit of schooling and after that that troubling IRL problem a few months back, I’ve been working overnight shifts on top of my last couple of classes. As you can image that tends to eat away at translating and editing time. Honestly I’m starting to see why most groups don’t make it more than a couple of years. Finally, I’ve known This was a thing for a while. So the adventures of Skeleton Knight continues. but I’m not translating it. There is a difference between the LN and WN versions of SK and I just don’t have the time or skill to translate the LN, if someone wants to pick up the torch have at it.
