SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH #SHAKESPEARESENGLAND No sunshine, but so much peace and quiet today at Draycote Water. We spotted ducks, swans, geese, boats, a plane, some bunnies, distant alpacas, and anglers. Lots of excitement for little ones! If you’ve not been there before, here’s what you need to know: - It’s a country park and operational reservoir owned by @severntrent. - There are signposted nature walks to follow, or the route around the reservoir is around 5 miles. - It is concrete, so suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs, bikes and scooters. - COVID-19 update: The cafe and kiosk are now open and serving takeaway food and drink. - COVID-19 update: There are two toilets for men and two toilets for women available, but a disabled toilet is locked and will require a ranger to open. - You can walk your dog in the country park area, but not around the reservoir. - Car parking is £3 for 2 hours or £4 all day. It’s a firm favourite for runners, walkers, buggy-pushers, scooters and all other combinations in between!
