Shakespeare on the Sound is a non-profit who produces an annual affordable production of a Shakespearean play in Fairfield County and provides Shakespeare educational programming throughout the entire year to our local community. Performing Arts. TICKETS | SHAKESONTHESOUND TUESDAY PERFORMANCES. General admission tickets to our shows on Tuesday evenings are donation only. Suggested donation amounts are $25 for adults, and $10 for seniors over 65 and students, children 12 andunder are free.
PROFESSIONAL TRAINING Apprentices function as an integral part of Shakespeare on the Sound, and will have the opportunity to work directly with the accomplished and professional artists creating the mainstage production. Shakespeare on the Sound House Manager duties include overseeing all aspects of seating within Pinkney Park for the run of the show including (with the assistance of the box office manager) creation of the seating chart for each show.. Prior to each show, you will have created a seating chart for patrons by pod (blankets, low-back chairs, high-back chairs, and reserved VIP seating) and by sizeADULT ENRICHMENT
an online event in partnership with the Rowayton Library. A 45-minute adult enrichment presentation followed by a 15-minute Q&A session. A presentational lecture style of information interwoven with monologues designed to support the topic of the lecture. Shakespeare on the Sound is a non-profit who produces an annual affordable production of a Shakespearean play in Fairfield County and provides Shakespeare educational programming throughout the entire year to our local community. Performing Arts. VISIT | SHAKESONTHESOUND Shakespeare on the Sound performs in Pinkney Park on the banks of the Five Mile River in Rowayton, CT. There's no better way to spend a summer evening then by watching professional actors perform Shakespeare in this picturesque waterfront setting. Whether this is your first time with Shakespeare on the Sound or or your twenty fifth, this guide will provide an overview of what a night in the TICKETS | SHAKESONTHESOUND TUESDAY PERFORMANCES. General admission tickets to our shows on Tuesday evenings are donation only. Suggested donation amounts are $25 for adults, and $10 for seniors over 65 and students, children 12 andunder are free.
PROFESSIONAL TRAINING Opportunities exist in the following disciplines: acting, directing, stage management, playwriting, and education. We are searching for talented emerging artists and administrators.COVID PROTOCOLS
