He has a BA from Cornell University, where he worked with Walter LaFeber, and a Ph.D from Stanford, where he was trained by Barton Bernstein, David Kennedy, and Alexander George. I graduated with my Ph.D in History from the University of Virginia in 1997, and I am currently a professor at Liberty University. I have authored or edited five books: The Gaither Committee; Eisenhower, and the Cold War; An American Soldier in World War I; In Hostile Skies: An American B-24 Pilot in World War II; John F. Kennedy: The New Frontier President; and Escape from REBECCA HERMAN WEBER Rebecca Herman Weber is Assistant Professor of International Studies at the University of Washington.
