This will be realized through rigorous and engaging science education connected to life-worthy and lifelong learning that fosters 21st century dispositions and skills (identifying problems & designing solutions, observation & questioning, analyzing evidence, creativity, communication, and collaboration).
The SFUSD Science Core Curriculum & the Next Generation Science Standards
In 2019-2020, SFUSD is fully implementing the SFUSD Science Core Curriculum supporting the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) in grades 6-12. K-5 is in year two of a 3-year roll-out of the NGSS-aligned science core curriculum. Find out more about the SFUSD Science Core Curriculum and
