USING TEAM DEVELOPMENT FOR SITECORE (TDS) WITH GITHUB January 4, 2013. When using Team Development for Sitecore (TDS) you may need to tell your source control system how to handle certain files. This post is mainly targeted to folks using Git as their source control system, but it could be a general guideline for people using any source control system that isn't integrated with Visual Studio. SITECORE CONTENT AS A SERVICE It was from these requests that we've dubbed "Sitecore Content as a Service." In order to use Sitecore content, in an SPA or mobile device, we need an easy-to-consume content service. The ultimate goal will be to have a clean REST API that is consumable by any potential client such as a Javascript MVC framework like Backbone.js or an iOSdevice.
GOOGLE MAPS WITH WAYPOINTS Finally! Google has finally added the feature of adding waypoints into its mapping product!. This is a feature that I have been wanting for a long time now! I remember back when Map24 came out and it had waypoints built it and it was impressive. Map24 has since fell off my bookmarks since it is a bit more of what I typically need, but it is still a very impressive product. I thought it was funny because Microsoft had removed that project model in the first release of Visual Studio 2005, but had to add it back with a service pack, included it in 2008, and appeared to make it mandatory for Azure in 2010.
