South Dublin County Council Community Grants Programme, 2021. Applications are invited for South Dublin County Council’s Community Grants Programme from Monday the 5 th of April 2021.. A wide range of Community Development, Sports Development and Community Events Funding are now being made available to Community Groups across the County.ANNUAL BUDGET
The budget must be adopted within 21 days of the first meeting. The Annual Budget establishes the budgeted expenditure and income for the coming year. It identifies the amount each budget holder may spend and also the amount of income which must be achieved. The DOEHLG determines the amount of the Local Government Fund Grant. This scheme is for the purchase or upgrade of additional outdoor equipment and, therefore, increase the outdoor dining capacity for the summer of2021.

South Dublin County Council commenced a review of the South Dublin County Development Plan 2016-2022 on the 31st of July 2020 and will create a new South Dublin County Development Plan for the period 2022 to 2028 over the next two years. Commercial Rates are determined by multiplying the Rateable Valuation by a multiplier called the Annual Rate on Valuation (ARV). Following adoption of the 2021 budget the ARV for 2021 is 0.276. Commercial Rates can be paid by any of the following methods: monthly direct debit, payment at the Council’s Payments Office, bank transfer orbank draft.
