DEAL VOLUMES IN THE UK BOOMS Deal activity in the UK accelerated at the start of the year as lockdown restrictions eased, with private equity and corporate acquisitions recording their strongest ever MAY’S TOTAL SALES SLIP 26 PER CENT AT PUBS, RESTAURANTS Britain’s managed pub, restaurant and bar groups recorded a 15 per cent drop in like-for-like sales in May 2021 from May 2019, the latest Coffer CGA Business Tracker reveals.
