So I tweaked the design to give it the angles of an Adirondack and added a curved back HOW TO BUILD A FLOATING DECK » ROGUE ENGINEER The main reason we moved to Michigan was to be closer to family. Which of course means more projects get added to the “to do” list. We love to build but even more we love to help out family, so when my brother-in-law asked me to help out on a deck build I jumped right in! We designed this deck to be a freestanding deck, we did this because in the county he lives in a deck attached to the DIY OUTDOOR BENCH IN 30 MINS W/ ONLY 3 TOOLS! Time needed: 30 minutes. This is an easy yet sleek looking bench that can be built for around $30, in about 30 mins, and with only 3 tools (drill/driver, circular saw, and speed square). Cutting the Wood. The 2x8s should be cut down per the following diagram. The angled cuts can be cut with either a miter saw or marked with a speed square and PUCKET GAME » ROGUE ENGINEER We saw this game called pucket on Uncommon Goods a while back and have wanted to build it ever since. With the holiday gift ideas we thought this would be the perfect time. I’m going to be honest here, this game looks fun but it is even more fun in real life than you’d imagine. It was a quick and easy build and really only cost about $15or less to make.
