NOV. 23: RIDEKC REDUCES BUS ROUTES

RideKC will temporarily roll back some RideKC transit service starting

Monday, Nov. 23, due to the increasing community spread of COVID-19.

KCATA is experiencing higher than normal staffing shortages among our

operator workforce. RideKC transit should be used for essential trips

only.

THANKSGIVING DAY SERVICE

RideKC observes the Thanksgiving holiday. Buses offer Sunday/Holiday

service. KC Streetcar runs 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday.

Offices and the Regional Call Center are closed for the holiday.

NEW RIDEKC NEXT PLAN AND ONLINE MEETINGS

An updated plan for the redesign of transit service focused on Kansas

City, Mo., is ready for your review. The new plan represents changes

resulting from public outreach that occurred in early 2020, as well as

additional technical and financial analysis.

NEW: RIDEKC NAVIGATOR

RideKC Navigator is a custom mobile app that provides wayfinding

assistance and detailed directions for people with vision impairments

or blindness. RideKC Navigator is available along Prospect MAX. Learn

EAST VILLAGE TRANSIT CENTER

The East Village Transit Center at 12th and Charlotte is now the main

downtown transit facility.

Nearly 20 routes serve the new transit center.

FACE COVERINGS REQUIRED ON BUSES

Under new local orders, face coverings will be required on RideKC

buses and on KC Streetcar. Face coverings may include masks, bandanas,

scarves or other cloth coverings.

Park and rides are convenient options when you prefer to ride

instead of drive. There are more than 40 park and ride locations

throughout the metropolitan area. Just drive to a nearby

park and ride lot, where you can board a bus to get to your
