It seems the necessity of putting money aside for future billion dollar legal settlements would add to today's cost. Even when the drug has been approved and no criminal action has taken place there will be such judgements. Perhaps tort reform should also be considered. ------------------------- Don't Be Surprised if the New York Times Axes Its Executive Editor |RealClearPolicy

I used to love the NYTimes, not because I agreed with their editorial policy but because they kept their opinion out of the news and reported it straight up. They were my go to source for depth of reporting of events around the world. When the Times decided to abandon reporting and go with their internal biases they morphed into the equivalent of Pravda very quickly. No thinking person payed much attention to news published in the original Pravda and thus it has become with the shell of the old Times. The fish rots from the head, as they say, and I lay the blame on Pinch Sulzberger. He is well along in his project to ruin a formerly great newspaper. I am fully able to make up my own mind about the meaning of current events and don't wish to be spoon fed leftist pablum by the likes of them! Do you?The New York Times now only succeeds in making it's readers dumber. ------------------------- Don't Let a Worthy Immigration Reform Hurt American Health Care |RealClearPolicy
