CURRENT AND PAST RESIDENTS Ragdale is currently closed to artists-in-residence due to the ongoing health crisis. Upon the reopening of the artists-in-residence program, a listing of current residents will be featured as well as alumni from past years. Approximately 30 Ragdale In Schools (RIS) Fellowships WHAT WE DO — RAGDALE Ragdale residents represent a cross-section of ages, cultures, experiences, and mediums, for a diverse and vibrant community. In each session, 13 artists-in-residence enjoy uninterrupted time for work, a supportive environment, dynamic artist exchanges, 50 acres of

A fellowship at Ragdale includes an 18- or 25-day residency, free of charge, and a $500 stipend. Ragdale Events. In addition to our Residency and Ragdale In Schools programs, we also host a number of events throughout the year. May 15, 2021 for residency taking place in 2022. Generously funded by the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation, Ragdale is offering fellowships to 3 artists and writers with spinal cord injury (SCI) in 2021. Fellows will receive an 18-day or 25-day residency at Ragdale along with a cash stipend of $500, the creation of a brief video documentary STAFF, CURATORIAL BOARD, TRUSTEES, JOB OPPORTUNITIES Our staff can be reached by calling 847.234.1063 and then entering their individual extensions, which are listed below. Ragdale was founded in 1976 in Lake Forest, Illinois by poet Alice Judson Hayes, the granddaughter of architect Howard Van Doren Shaw. Artist Profile. kwabena foli is a multidisciplinary artist born in Belgium but raised in South Side Chicago.
