ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION The Polish Cheerleading Sport Association was founded in March 2018 on the initiative of four associations: the Polish Dance Federation, Student Sport Club “Duet”, Student Sport Dance Club “Shock Dance Szczecin” and Sport Club “Grawitacja”. HISTORY OF CHEERLEADING On 2 November 1898, standing in front of a crowd of sport fans, Johnny Campbell, a medical student, started conducting the cheer on the spur of the moment. He was so effective that the team won and he made history as the first cheerleader. And thus the current sport discipline was born. Subsequent years saw the growth of cheerleading

Are you a teacher who would like to establish a cheerleading team at their school but lacks the knowledge and qualifications? JOIN US! - POLISH CHEERLEADING SPORT ASSOCIATION The Polish Cheerleading Sport Association would like to cooperate with all clubs, sport sections, associations and other entities with a legal personality which would like to advance their careers in this sport discipline in line with international standards and requirements of the International Olympic Committee and with due regard to the ethics of sport competition. EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS 2021 ARE CANCELLED European Championships 2021 are cancelled. No official European championships will be hosted in the year 2021. With practice conditions still being uneven across Europe, a live event requiring international travel is still not feasible before the end of the year. THE ORGANISATION OF EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS IN VERONA HAS The ECU executives and the organisers feel that the situation still does allow a safe live international event in June or July 2021. With numerous countries in lockdown and even more facing interdiction of practicing our sport, it is hard to imagine neither high participation

nor equitable level
