FOUR WAYS UNUSED RETAIL SPACES CAN BE TRANSFORMED INTO Four Ways Unused Retail Spaces Can Be Transformed Into Multifamily Housing. In my role as the housing practice leader, part of my job is to try and understand the future of housing and help clients plan accordingly. Considering everything happening in the world today, it is obvious that retail will look different post-COVID-19. SILVER STAR VETERANS HOUSING Silver Star Apartments is the first low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) development in Michigan to provide permanent supportive housing to homeless veterans. Following an initial Phase 1 in 2009 that saw an overwhelming response and 100% occupancy in just 39 days, Silver Star and Medallion Management saw a need to expand thefacility.

The organization had outgrown their original office location and were occupying two separate buildings about a mile apart. Adaptive reuse projects require less mobilization, less construction time, and are less disruptive to schedules. Often, these projects can be completed during summer or winter breaks or throughout a single semester. This quick construction time minimizes the downtime of valuable space.GOGUAC LAKE

This is an often overlooked topic but one of incredible importance as choosing the right furniture, and laying it out affectively, can assist both memory care residents and caregivers in day-to-dayactivities.
